The Blue Mosque

The Blue Mosque is a historical mosque in istanbul, the largest city in Turkey. The mosque is one of several mosques known as the blue mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior.
It was built between 1609 and 1616, during the rule of Ahmed 1. Like many other mosques, it also comprises a tomb of the founder, a madrasah and a hospice. The sultan Ahmed mosque has become one of the greatest tourist attractions of Istanbul.
It is built in an islamic style. This mosque made of ceramic tiles and glass window. The special for this mosque is, it is have natural light and through 260 window in there. This mosque also is one of the mosque in Turkey that has six minarets, at the same time, the same number as the mosque of the kaaba in Mecca.
Lastly, other information about this mosque is, Istanbul at summer sunset has a fairy tale quality, offering viewer a unique and memorable experience.
