Los Angeles is the largest city in the state of California and the second largest in the United States. The city is situated in a Mediterranean climate or Dry-Summer Subtropical zone. The average annual temperature is around 66 degrees fahrenheit.
Los Angeles is known as L.A and it is nicknamed The City of Angels. It is rated as an alpha world city, having an estimated population of 3.8 million people. Los Angeles is famous in leading the world in producing popular entertainment such as motion picture, television, internet content, video games and recorded music, which form the base of it's international fame and global status.
Los Angeles was founded in 1781, by Spanish governor Felipe de Neve as The Village of our Lady, the Queen of the Angels of Porziuncola.
If I get the chance to go to Los Angeles, I would like to visit Paramount Studios because I want to see the famous film sets such as the one from the film Jaws, Pirates of the Caribbean and Waterworld.
