Assalamualaikum...
Here I want to describe about my building I like.This is ‘Terapung Mosque’.Actually ‘Terapung Mosque’ has named Tengku Tengah Zaharah’s Mosque,based on his mother named of Al-Marhum Sultan Terengganu , Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud.It located around 7 km from Kuala Terengganu city.The place is very beautiful and also unique than another mosque.It was built on the Ibai river.The mosque started built at September 1991 and finished middle of January 1994 with cost about RM6.997 million.It was made by ‘Jabatan Kerja Raya’ .The architect was Dato’Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad from Bahri Art with model Islamic style and combined local art.They building have many facilities besides it is a place of prayer for muslim such as mini library,room and office for imam,store and others.The area of mosque about 1372 metres and also have tower.The tower high 30 metres. Besides that,the beautiful scenery it had, can make that place very peace .So,many people like to visit that place.
